On the impeachment of his deputy Rigathi Gachagua, President William Ruto appears to have planned all the way to the end.

He has thought of all the possible unintended consequences, all possible obstacles that will hinder his plan and he has found ways to counter them. How?

1. The matter is being handled very fast. For instance NA speaker had 2 days to notify the speaker of the senate of the impeachment of the DP, he used less than 12 hours. On the other hand senate speaker has 7 days after being notified to call for a special sitting he used less than 6 hours. The plan is to use the legally shortest time possible to put this matter to rest. Why? This is to deny Gachagua ample time to strategise and counter.

2. At the senate If the special committee reports that the particulars of ANY of the 11 grounds have been substantiated, the Senate shall after according the Deputy President an opportunity to be heard, vote on the impeachment charges. - Gachagua can successfully argue out all the charges but ONE - the politics of SHAREHOLDING. This is the one that will finish him at the senate. He can not escape it.

Ruto has planned to the end with ruthless and sharp focus to the end goal. He is not going halfway.
