@MonsieurPiddly I was on FR4116 Manchester to Murcia, some horrendous turbulence. Held for a while before deciding to go to Almeria… took 2 attempts to get it down. Wasn’t pleasant!
@lateturn@ChimeWhistle This service often gets cancelled as its ECS from Sheffield to Lincoln so any unit shortage this seems to be the one that suffers. There is one half hour later from Lincoln to Sheffield arrives about 08:45 ish
I'm a train driver, I'll blow my horn and wave at any kids, elderly or drunks who give me the sign, I love it. But trainspotters pestering us to blow the horn, filming everything we do including mistakes so they can upload it can fuck off. Nobody likes a grass.
@lateturn@railnigel Plus if the crew for the next service are delayed or disrupted and the train is open to the public, this can then prove another problem. Crews are down to dispose unit/secure unit on arrival into Leeds the majority of the time.
@CharlieRWalker Numerous times I’ve driven towards/over this foot crossing having blown the horn at the whistle board and people still chance it, deservedly closed!
@lateturn@Guard_Ean@DavidHorne Noticed loads of Wolverhampton licenced taxis in Sheffield recently… not sure how it all works but surely Wolverhampton plates shouldn’t be picking Sheffield/yorkshire jobs up
@writinggeorgia @OctopusEnergy Noticed this myself, I plug in and let Intelligent Go create the schedule, but when it charges outside off peak, I’m getting charged at peak rate until it hits 23:30-05:30…
A train company has released CCTV of a man being knocked over by a train after he stood too close to the edge of the platform, to remind passengers to stay safe at stations.

@kelvmackenzie I’m sure I see you tweet on the daily the same absolute crap, then I read your bio and realised which newspaper you work for… but don’t let facts get in the way of a shit story.
@mik61scot How wrong can you be? Train drivers ARE working the Christmas period. Train Drivers ARE also choosing to spend their REST DAYS off over the festive period…
@SimonLester24 Well my point still stands, my days are my days off, if I want to work overtime (like I have today) then I will. If I don’t, then I won’t. It really is that simple.
@SimonLester24 I’ll take that as a no then… because you wanted to spend your days off with your family? Watching football? Having a life away from work? Just like I do…
