@JacquiDeevoy1 Yes, dignity matters. No one should be mistreated. But we also have to be honest: opting out of every method of screening and then blaming staff for enforcing standard protocol isn’t reasonable. Airports haven’t changed the rules. They’re enforcing them.

@JacquiDeevoy1 There’s a social contract when we travel—especially by air. Security procedures exist to protect everyone. You can refuse the scanner, but that triggers alternative checks. If you then refuse those too, you’re choosing not to comply with the process.
