DND personnel blocks Chinese media previously identified as the ones who harassed the Philippine delegation in last year’s Shangrila Dialogues in Singapore.
Thank you for the map — it actually proves our point. The feature that the @Chinaembmanila label 美济礁 is Panganiban Reef, a low-tide elevation sitting well within the Philippines’ 200-nautical-mile Exclusive Economic Zone. Under UNCLOS — a treaty China signed — low-tide elevations cannot be appropriated as territory, generate no territorial sea, and certainly generate no ‘Chinese-controlled airspace.’ This is not Manila’s opinion. It is the binding 2016 Arbitral Award, which the People’s Republic of China remains legally bound by no matter how loudly it pretends otherwise.
So let us be clear: the Philippines does not recognize, has never recognized, and will never recognize any ‘Chinese presence’ on a coral reef that Beijing illegally bulldozed, reclaimed, and militarized inside our own maritime zone. There is no sensitive ‘military facility’ there in the eyes of international law — only an unlawful installation built on a feature that belongs to no one but the Philippine sovereign maritime entitlement.
GMA REPORTER ATHENA IMPERIAL FILES ACTS OF LASCIVIOUSNESS COMPLAINT VS FORMER GMA REPORTER NICO WAJE
Based on documents obtained by The Philippine STAR, GMA reporter Athena Imperial and another former network employee have filed separate complaints against former GMA reporter Nico Waje for alleged acts of lasciviousness under Article 336 of the Revised Penal Code, as well as gender-based sexual harassment under Republic Act No. 11313.
In a statement, APS Law, through Atty. Aloi Renz P. Santos, confirmed that his client Imperial, formally named in the statement as Athena Mae D. Imperial-Rodriguez, “has filed the appropriate complaint before the proper authorities.”
“This case is now before the proper forum. We will therefore allow the process to take its course and will not discuss the merits beyond what is necessary to protect our client’s rights,” APS Law said.
The law firm added: “Ms. Imperial-Rodriguez comes forward not only for herself, but also as an advocate for those who cannot yet speak for themselves. She believes that incidents of this nature can no longer be ignored, minimized, or tolerated in any workplace, profession, or industry.”
APS Law also noted, “without further comment and out of respect for privacy and due process,” that “a separate complaint has likewise been filed by another individual.”
“APS Law respects the rights of all parties. At the same time, we will firmly pursue all remedies available under law, guided by evidence, ethics, and proper procedure,” the statement further read.
In a separate statement sent to this paper, Imperial-Rodriguez said:
“I have decided to pursue the proper legal remedies available to me under the law.
“This was not an easy decision. It took time, reflection, and support from the people closest to me before I found the courage to come forward.
“I am speaking not only for myself, but also for those who, for different reasons, are still unable or afraid to speak for themselves. I believe that incidents of this nature can no longer be ignored, minimized, or tolerated in any workplace or industry.
At this point, I choose to place my trust in the legal process and in the institutions tasked to handle these matters properly and fairly.
“Out of respect for the ongoing proceedings, I will refrain from discussing further details and ask the public to allow the proper authorities to do their work without speculation or prejudgment.
“I remain hopeful that, through lawful processes and honest conversations, safer spaces and greater accountability may continue to develop for everyone.”
As of writing, Waje has yet to react to the complaint. | @Natspeaking

From the last pocket party we hosted in Januaey, siluet/mono/tekken. The idea is one of the neurodivergent love languages of Parallel Play—we do different things but we do them together and both make perfect sense.
Next Friday, I’ll be hosting a party w Amsterdam-based collective WP Frequencies and we’ll be playing a lot of IDM/leftfield/experimental techno and breaks. We’re considering having Tekken for some of our friends who want to play parallel to our sets. See u!

I’M STOPPING PrEP!!!
Okay. Pause. Breathe. Don’t panic.
This is not a “PrEP is bad” post. Far from it.
I’m stopping PrEP because I’m in a new relationship. We’re happy, we’re exclusive, and we’re both HIV-negative. Right now, our actual risk for HIV is essentially zero. From a medical standpoint, I don’t need PrEP at this moment.
And this is the part I really want people to understand.
PrEP has seasons.
Just like Christmas, flu season, or hot-girl summer, we also have seasons of risk.
There are times in your life when PrEP matters a lot. When you’re dating. When you’re exploring. When you’re in an open relationship. When sex is frequent, spontaneous, or involves multiple partners. In those seasons, PrEP is powerful protection. It saves lives.
And then there are seasons when your risk is low. When you’re in an exclusive relationship. When life is quieter. When HIV exposure simply isn’t happening. In those moments, it’s okay to pause.
PrEP is not a trap.
It’s not a lifetime contract.
It’s not something you are required to take forever.
PrEP is a tool. It is a choice. It is an empowering option for gay men.
For me, right now, I’m choosing to stop.
Who knows what the future holds? Life changes. Relationships evolve.
What matters is this. If I ever need PrEP again, it will be there. And that knowledge alone is power.
Make decisions based on your life, your risk, and your truth. Not fear. Not shame.
Love you all.
