Imagine having lost all your household properties and left to zero๐ข
I stand with the families, and I believe together, we can help them rebuild and stand strong๐
The Chairperson of ROSACU opened the meeting by appreciating members for their commitment and participation. He noted that despite the various road safety initiatives and activities being implemented, road crashes continue to rise, highlighting the need for stronger collaboration and collective action to ensure road safety voices are heard by decision-makers and the public.
He also encouraged member organizations to explore income-generating projects and sustainable financing opportunities. Drawing examples from organizations that have successfully adopted this approach, he emphasized that diversifying income sources can strengthen institutional capacity, reduce dependence on donor funding, and support long-term sustainability.
The Heads of ROSACU's Technical and Media Working Groups shared key progress updates. The Technical Working Group emphasized compliance and documentation, while the Media Working Group encouraged members to submit articles, attend trainings, and engage with the coalition website.
