Over the last year I've been very involved in trying to bring this unique suicide prevention charity back on-line after a period of closure. They are now seeking funds to enable reopening later this year - please share/donate if you can
We are working hard to reopen our house by autumn, but we need your help with funding essential refurbishment. A donation via our Justgiving page, would be hugely appreciated!

Searchlight obituary of the great Jules Konopinski, the last anti-fascist to have fought with the 43 Group and the 62 Group. Written by Daniel Sonabend, historian of the 43 group. https://t.co/nmYiZIePEo
On a personal note, Jules was one of my biggest supporters as I conducted my research on the 43 Group. He was always generous with his time and keen to help however he could. He was a huge inspiration to me, and will be greatly missed by all who were privileged to know him.
I am very sad to report the passing of Jules Konopinski yesterday at the age of 93. He was the last surviving person who was a member of both the 43 Group and the 62 Group, and the last surviving of the 43 Group's great street fighters.
Jules was a lifelong committed anti-fascist stalwart, who never shied away from the fight against fascism, and who never lost his passion for opposing it. In later life he was dedicated to upholding the memory of his groups and the importance of communal defence against fascism.
@pablo_uranga Hi Pablo. Unfortunately, to my knowledge, there is no digital archive of On Guard online, and the only full run of the paper is held by the British Library in London - they may have a service where you can pay for them to digitise, but I'm not sure how much that would cost.

I am very sorry to report the passing of Harry Kaufman who passed away on Yom Kippur at the age of 91. Harry was the youngest member of the 43 Group, he was a committed life-long anti-fascist who fought and was injured and arrested for his cause. May his memory be a blessing.

@eddiemarsan Thank you so much Eddie! Yes Jules (or Mad Jules as he was known in the 43 Group) is a really amazing guy, a genuine anti-fascist hero. Really looking forward to watching the show tonight!
I appeared on @BBCR4Sunday this morning alongside former 43 and 62 Group member Jules Konopinski to give some historic background for tonight's first episode of #RidleyRoad. The piece begins around the 23 min mark
