Out of all of the insane 180 degree turns from the people of Podcastistan, Shawn is one of the most shocking and disappointing. I have to admit that he has me fooled, and I thought that he was a man of character and integrity. Of course, since then I've found out that he's a "former" C.I.A. asset. Thank you for dispelling the Internet narrative. Of course, the one example that clearly was a hate crime was despicable and reprehensible, and the victim and his family deserved justice, so it's great that the murderers were brought to justice, although they all should have been executed. Portraying the other people's deaths (while all are very tragic) as hate crimes just to fit an agenda diminishes and insults the actual victims of such actual racism motivated murders. This is why people need to do their own research and not just get caught up in the outrage.
