Justine Nameere, former television personality, and daughter of agriculture minister Vincent Bamulangaki Ssempijja, was on Thursday 11/07/2019 sent to prison for 6 months. The execution and bailiff’s court registrar, Flavia Nabakooza, jailed Nameere over failure to pay sh55m to businessman Emmanuel Muwonge.
Nameere sold Muwonge a Mercedes Benz worth sh55m, yet she had placed it as security at Platinum Credit Limited, a local microfinance company.

Her husband, Raymond Kagimba Mugimba, 38, was also remanded on Friday 12/07/2019 for allegedly uttering an introduction letter for a loan, purportedly signed by Vision Group Senior Advertising Manager Harriet Mpora to Uganda Micro-credit Foundation Limited.
