For three days now, a massive queue of cargo trucks stretching nearly 35 kilometres into Kenya has brought business at the Malaba border to a standstill.
Truck drivers and clearing agents blame the congestion on Uganda Revenue Authority's newly reinstated metallic cargo sealing system, saying it has slowed cargo clearance, disrupted trade, and raised security concerns.
