To make literature more interesting in high school, teachers should connect the stories to real life issues that students care about. Letting students choose some of the books they read can make them more excited to learn. Watching movie versions also.
I do think reading literature written by Latinx author's would enhance overall learning experience because reading a piece of literature by an author who can is like you and understands your culture can help you feel closer to your culture and also better understand it
American authors. Especially when the stories are about how Latin culture and how Latin people grow up. I just find it more interesting and relatable and that’s why I enjoy reading literature written by Latinx authors.
Yes. I do think that reading literature written by Latinx authors would enhance my overall learning experience and make it enjoyable. The reason why I say yes is because as a Latino that’s has experience a lot of stuff I could relate more to the Latin authors more than…….
@daneducatorTC Yes I think it would because as a hispanic high school student reading this type of literature is enjoyable. Especially because I can relate to them. I also believe it will enhance our learning experience because it teaches us different experiences just based on who you are.
Yes, reading literature written by Latinx authors can enhance and improve the learning experience and make it more enjoyable to the reader. It provides diverse perspectives into Latinx culture, history, and identity
Seeing as many of the people in our community are people of Latin heritage, it would be nice to be able to learn more about the way they used to live their lives and the struggles they faced. I read this story about a Latin girl that was coming to the US and it was inspiring.
I feel like it would because there aren't as much representation of them in the media and they should be celebrated because of their hard work and to learn more about their cultures. It is helpful because you can understand a culture that is foreign to you. -K.J (≡^∇^≡)
I personally find it more interesting since I can relate to the literature, and I can compare my own life with theirs to see how i can relate and differ from things they’ve experienced.
@daneducatorTC Eres mía by Romeo Santos, as a kid growing up I would hear this song being played constantly at parties or at home. My culture revolves around a lot of love and passion.
