Arsenal have set the record for the lowest possession percentage for a team playing in a Champions League final (since records began in 2003-04).
The previous lowest record was also Arsenal, set in the 2006 Champions League final, which they played 72 minutes with 10 men.

@PontardaweTown and @CaerphillyAFC receive their Club of the Month Trophies for March. Lee James, Ardal Southern Referees Officer presents Christian Evans (Pontardawe Town Manager) and Ian Butterworth (Caerphilly Athletic Manager) with their trophies.
@DaleJohnsonBBC@EfcWorcester@Tony_Scott11 Then your job is surely to say “the VAR says X” but I do not agree with this…..
Or are you saying that the original decision was still correct in your opinion?
Your response clearly suggested that you backed the original decision, and it is now accepted that decision was wrong
Fans will probably be a bit miffed that VAR John Brooks intervened for a violent conduct red card for Lisandro Martinez for a bit of a hair pull.
But decided Gabriel pushing his forehead into Erling Haaland's face was "not excessively aggressive or violent".
@OhCheesesChrist It’s so frustrating. However, should not be any Friday night games that week unless premier league go back on previous agreement with FA
VAR is no good. It's just not.
It doesn't need tweaking or resetting - it's just no good for football.
Referees make bad errors every now and but so does this billion pound tech overlord bullshit.
What have we gained? Nothing.
What have we lost? Live football.
Match suddenly upside down. Maguire with a hand on Evanilson that was lighter than Amad received for his penalty claim - but this time adjudged foul + red. Can’t square those calls.

More Monday night football for MUFC.
Both April home league games switched. Zero - absolutely zero - consideration given to what match going fans think or want.
You just can't beat celebrating a goal live. The magical moment when a goal goes in, before waiting for five minutes to see if VAR can spot whether a player was offside by a toenail in an earlier phase, before interfering with play. The beautiful game.
After away game ballots this season, there have been a number of occasions where people have reported not receiving an unsuccessful email.
A very concerning pattern when applying for #MUFC away games is emerging:
- Supporters successfully apply for an away ticket and receive the standard confirmation email.
- When the ballot is run, these supporters are NOT receiving the standard 'unsuccessful' email.
- The critical issue is that these applicants now appear to have never been entered into the ballot draw at all.
This indicates a failure between the application receipt and the final ballot entry. Ticket Office staff have reportedly acknowledged this system problem but confirmed it hasn't been fixed.
If applicants are being excluded from the draw despite correctly applying, @ManUtd must be completely transparent about what's going on immediately. The integrity of the away ballot process is at stake.
In Cardiff with Denis Irwin for a night with the Cardiff and Vale Reds.
Someone brought a United We Stand and an article we wrote about him in 1993. I had to check what we’d written before I let him see it.
