My first publication went live in @Joule_CP today! In it, we describe an anode framework that's conceptually new, highly practical, and pretty much completely unexplored. There's still more work to do, but I think something like this could really work!

i think it was kinda bs at the end of the matrix when neo just comes back to life when trinity is like, 'i love you'. dont get me wrong i love a good romance but was tough to suspend belief for that
2/ probably only like 4 years ago I would read like 1 book a year... if that. Couple things that have helped me other than WANTING to read more which is most important
1) read multiple books at once
2) switch between ebooks and paper
3) get recs from friends :-)
I could see reading as an exercise in empathy you kind of put your life on hold and think about other people's thoughts and feelings for a bit. Orrrr escapism :)
One of the dopest things about coding is that you can work on building a side project and the worst case scenario is that you learn new stuff that will help you get wherever you want in your career - pretty much zero downside
