My constituency Vandre east has 6 wards

With the BMC election results coming out,

Total votes congress + got in these 6 wards = 19, 613

Total votes NCP (solo) got in these 6 wards
= 21,532

Total votes NCP (combined) got in these 6 wards the last BMC elections in 2017
= 4,749

No disrespect to the congress party,
just stating some facts here.
Before 2019, Vandre east was always a SS UBT stronghold. I contested and won the elections here in 2019, before me former chief minister Narayan Rane ji too lost the seat from congress by a margin of around 20k votes and congress has even come 4th in 2014.
Worked very hard and got the congress party’s vote share back up and won the seat in 2019. In 2024 My sitting seat was given to SS UBT in the alliance, I joined the NCP party which was fairly new in Vandre east and fought the elections and lost to SS UBT after getting 46 k votes. When I lost all congress social media trolls told me that I had only won earlier because of congress, forgetting the fact that it was me who worked relentlessly to increase the party’s vote share.

Today in 2026, just about a year after joining NCP, we have established a strong cadre on ground and have got more votes than the congress party which is a great sign. Still behind the SS UBT but me and my team will work day and night to make sure we come out victorious in the next elections.

We won ward 96 today in Vandre east and also did fairly well overall.

दर्द मिले हैं काफी मगर हमने मुस्कुराना कहाँ छोड़ा है,
टूटे हैं ख्वाब कई... फिर भी जिंदगी से मुंह कहाँ मोड़ा है
रास्ते मुश्किलों से भरे हैं, पर हमने चलना कहाँ छोड़ा है,
जिंदगी के इस उतार चढाव में भी उम्मीदों से नाता कहाँ तोड़ा है।।

On the 12th of October I lost my father, he was brutally shot right outside my vandre east office. On the 14th of October Maharashtra assembly elections were announced. For the first few days I didn’t even understand what was happening around me. Within a few days of my father’s passing I had to resume work from that very vandre east office. Suddenly, I found myself contesting an election and a former chief minister and his entire family, many former cabinet ministers were all campaigning hard against me. Without even having the time to grieve I put on a fight, this time without my father’s guidance. Started my campaign pretty late but I got around 10 thousand votes more than my previous election in 2019.
Within a month’s time I lost my father and the elections as well. The easiest thing here would be to give up. But that’s not how my father has brought me up. I thank everyone who has stood by me. Especially my mother, my sister, my family, my karyakartas and my friends.
A big thank you to Ajit dada, Praful Patel ji, Sunil Tatkare ji and the entire NCP family for standing strong beside me. A special thank you to my friend Parth Pawar for being there when times were tough.
