@garytaubes@hubermanlab Save for epilepsy there isn't any good evidence these diets help anyone beyond what placebo effect achieves. Just a lot of hype and no substance.
@Special_Cactus@Kansanparantaja@grok What kansan is hypothesizing is that elevated apob might not result in plaque if the artery wall integrity is preserved. This is grasping at straws because all animal experiments indicate that elevated apob or the cause of it is sufficient to also compromise the artery
Russia makes NATO blind in space
Russian military satellite Kosmos 2612 recently executed precise maneuvers to enter the same orbital plane, altitude (~555 km), and path as ICEYE-X3, as twin.
ICEYE-X36 is a Finnish-US synthetic aperture radar satellite providing all-weather imaging support to Ukraine’s military.
The Russian satellite is jamming (sending garbage at the same frequency) from the same location. This renders the NATO satellite unusable.
What a pity.
@BrysonGray John 7:35
The Jews said to one another, “Where does this man intend to go that we cannot find him? Will he go where our people live scattered among the Greeks, and teach the Greeks?
yup.
@BrysonGray it was also a propaganda vehicle to encourage hellenized jews from greece to repopulate the destroyed jerusalem, because they wouldn't be rebellious like the defeated pharisee jews. hence most of the story is preaching to greeks.
@TuckerGoodrich extreme extrapolations from rodent models. misleading toxin analogy -- alcohol has no physiological requirement, essential fatty acids do. epidemiological data doesn't find any problems with seed oil. you would need that before deep diving mechanisms. you got the order reversed.
@Bobbert69572732@carnivore_jt that's not true at all. dying causes low LDL primarily because they stop eating. cancer also has additional effects of lowering LDL in addition to no longer eating. When you look at a timeline, the people with low LDL for reasons other than dying live longer than high LDL.
@dramerling if that were true mammals would normally be in ketosis. actually it only occurs when starving or going on a totally artificial diet meant to mimick starving.
@carnivore_jt unfiltered coffee increases your LDL by 10mg/dl. It's not clinically relevant. such small changes don't matter at all. you take the mushroom extract that is a statin and you'll see it drop 40-100mg. that is clinically relevant.
@Smirkley@RGBKopyrka a lot of this is rural population problems, and because russia is so vast it takes a long time for the 21st century to arrive at the remote areas. but it'l get there.
@Smirkley Different dates of polls here in a rapidly unfolding global recession is a problem. Foreign affairs opinions change like the wind and these months apart are a lot of wind.
@BrysonGray You know Bryson, you're making god look bad by subscribing to these bronze age fairy tales. It's like if you believed the odysee was a true story, what would you think of someone that stupid?
@mattforney that's a red headed woman on steroids, some kind of goddess. the cornell 7 should be beheaded for displeasing her. doesn't really matter the details.
