In our latest article, we look at the aftermath of the TVL War on @FantomFDN sparked by @AndreCronjeTech's new @solidlyexchange. The War may be over, but there's still projects vying for power on all sides: https://t.co/FOXCVetBQv
Cause we're in it for the tech:
With the launch of optimistic and zk-rollups, Ethereum L2 adoption is gaining traction. Today, we look at the four major L2s - @optimismPBC@arbitrum@zksync and @StarkWareLtd's StarkNet: https://t.co/HFPnyhks1O
10/ As VR and AR tech improves and open virtual worlds become more enjoyable, people will likely spend more time there. This will create new business opportunities, such as advertising, shopping, and more. This may translate well to consistent user growth in these platforms.
1/ Today, by looking at @Decentraland@TheSandbox@AxieInfinity@DeFiKingdoms and their explosion in popularity since Facebook rebranded to Meta, we discuss the metaverse, where users can interact in new and exciting ways: https://t.co/j4JLDpq4zG
9/ As time goes on, 3D immersive worlds and gaming will likely blend. Many new and innovative applications will come out, as we have already seen with digital NFT art galleries, concerts by famous musicians in a virtual world, and earning real money for playing a video game.
10/ If Ethereum L2 solutions continue to grow at the current rate, they'll begin to really compete with the L1's, while also benefiting from Ethereum's decentralization. As users flock to the new platforms and dApps built on L2, Ethereum should continue to flourish.
1/ Currently, Layer 1 blockchains and Ethereum L2 solutions like @optimismPBC, @arbitrum@0xPolygon, @avalancheavax, @FantomFDN@solana and @Immutable are working hard to foster innovation and to allow crypto to scale to billions of users.

9/ What comes next for the scaling debate is hard to say. However, many of the layer 1's have plans to continue innovating and addressing throughput and security. Ethereum layer 2 now has working products and apps built on them for users to try.
