@Vincent_Writes Good question.
A reason to find like minded believers is as follows. Light one match. It throws a little light and goes out quickly. Light a bundle of matches & the they will burn long and bright.
We are part of a body. Being in a healthy church helps us grow & serve each other
@hookinemgood@lady_valor_07 Son of Svengoulie on Chicago channel 32 did a parody called "Marty Feldman Eyes" that gives the song a reason to exist. ๐คฃ
@Ameer_wael07 Here's an idea; don't rape, kill, and kidnap innocent people in the name of your demon god, and you won't get wiped off the map. Try that.
@DineshDSouza@pastorscottc All those who were involved with the death of Jesus were responsible for their actions. God did not force any of them. A cursory read of the Gospels will show that Jesus gave Judas multiple opportunities to not betray Him, up to and including the very moment Judas kissed Him.

Life is precious.
@Exodus15_11@Christocentrism they don't. Pastors should go to Bible school and train under Pastors. Chuck Smith used to say healthy sheep beget healthy sheep.
In most cases, seminaries beget seminarians. There's a few exceptions but 90% of the church doesn't know or believe the core doctrines of the Bible.
@Exodus15_11@Christocentrism This is where most of the church fails.
A pastor should take his congregation through the Bible. Study verse by verse, chapter by chapter, book by book, cover to cover, over and over again.
All the issues, culture, etc. are addressed. Most of those church remain on track. Sadly,
