Some of you really need real life problems to deal with I promise you. A dude took the time to create a telegram channel and gathered other dudes from around the world in the group and named it "Messi Defenders".

His aim? To mass report social media posts spreading misinformation about Messi. Now one of the guys he made admin took it upon himself to instruct members of the "Messi Defenders" clan to Mass report social media accounts supporting Ronaldo instead.

Funniest part? None of them is from or has been to Argentina before. Crazy times.

During my NYSC, I worked as an accountant for a cocoa merchant.

A few months in, my boss offered me a full-time job, but I declined.

Shortly after I resumed, he told me there had been persistent theft in the cocoa store and asked me to investigate.

In his words: “Abi no be wetin accountant suppose sabi do?”

I went through the records, reconciled the store activities, and eventually uncovered inconsistencies in the accounts. The numbers didn’t add up, and the evidence pointed to the two storekeepers. They have been stealing a lot.

I reported my findings to my boss, expecting him to handle it discreetly.

Instead, the next morning, he called everyone into a meeting and said:

“Corper Kunle, oya tell it to their face.”

That was one of the most uncomfortable moments of my entire NYSC year. I honestly wasn’t prepared for that.
