This is what it looks like when a train is forced to push through an active wildfire zone.

Footage from train engineers near Armstrong, Ontario — the same area under evacuation orders right now. The sky is blood orange. Flames are visible outside the windows. One engineer says: “We’re encased in flames now.” Another: “This is getting a little scary.”

These crews are trying to keep critical rail lines moving while the forest burns on both sides of the tracks.

This is northwestern Ontario in July 2026.

And while Canadian infrastructure and workers are literally surrounded by fire, our government keeps writing billion-dollar cheques to the same foreign countries on repeat — money that will take generations to recover, if it ever does.

Where are the water bombers?
Where is the serious investment in forest management and rapid response?
Where is the priority on actually protecting Canadian land, Canadian communities, and Canadian workers?

They have endless money for everyone else.

But when our own forests are burning and our own people are in the middle of it?

We get the same old story: underfunded resources, slow response, and politicians who treat domestic disasters like an afterthought.

This isn’t just bad luck with the weather.

This is what happens when a government stops putting Canada first.

After 11 years of Liberal destruction — now fully owned by Mark Carney — this is exactly how you put a country into recession: blow billions on foreign wars, corporate welfare disasters, green fairy tales, and your own propaganda machine while Canadians get crushed.

Look at the damage:

- **Ukraine**: Over $25.5–26.7 billion and counting (another $925 million just dropped). Our own military is falling apart and veterans are waiting, but the blank cheque to Ukraine never stops.

- **Northvolt**: Promised a $7 billion battery plant. Got billions in subsidies and loans. Result? Total bankruptcy. Hundreds of millions of Canadian taxpayer dollars torched.

- **Stellantis**: Took over $500 million+ to stay in Brampton… then moved production to the U.S. and walked away. Now the government is chasing them for the money back like they got played.

- **Volkswagen**: Up to $13+ billion in production subsidies (PBO says the real cost could hit $16.3 billion). Massive corporate welfare for a plant that was supposed to save us.

- **Carbon Capture**: Billions committed and still flowing. Most projects are stalled or delivering almost nothing while energy costs stay sky high.

- **Deficit**: Doubled under Carney. We’re now running massive deficits while the economy contracts into a technical recession.

This isn’t “building Canada strong.” This is elite grift, ideological waste, and deliberate mismanagement that’s robbing the middle class and future generations blind.

They spent us into recession while telling us everything is fine. The bill is here and regular Canadians are the ones getting screwed.

This is the Canada the Liberals built. And it’s collapsing.

I took the family on a road trip to Florida this year and it was exactly like he said.

Walk into any fast food place or store down there and you see actual teenagers working the counters. Polite. Speaking English. No TFW army taking every entry-level job.

My kids noticed it immediately. One of them even said they wanted to get a job now. It’s contagious wanting to contribute and earn!

It’s not that Canadian kids don’t want to work.

The Liberals made damn sure there’s nothing left for them.

They opened the floodgates to cheap foreign labour so corporations could pay less while our own youth sit at home doing nothing.

Roads are better. Gas is cheaper. Places are cleaner. People aren’t miserable.

You only notice how far we’ve fallen when you cross the border and see what normal used to feel like.

Canada’s tanker ban (Bill C-48) prohibits Canadian oil tankers from BC’s northern coast.

American oil tankers use the same waters.

Roughly 300 laden crude oil tankers/year move Alaska crude down the Pacific coast under a voluntary exclusion zone Canada cannot enforce on foreign vessels.

Canada bans its own citizens from moving oil through the water.

The United States moves 300 tankers through it annually.

The Northern Gateway Pipeline: cancelled.

The Eagle Spirit Pipeline: cancelled.

The Trans Mountain expansion: bought by taxpayers when the private buyer walked away.

Two weeks ago Carney and Eby re-committed to maintaining the ban.

Meanwhile:

-Alberta pays tens of billions a year into equalization
-The US is exiting USMCA
-Cenovus’s CEO called Carney’s pipeline strategy “unfinanceable”
-Canada told the UAE it isn’t ready for their $70 billion in investment
