@mradamwelcome @burgessdave@dbc_inc@TaraMartinEDU@burgess_shelley I would love this set! We have been doing a ton of book studies at my school and the staff is loving it! These titles really speak to our plans for the upcoming school year. I would love to read them and share them with others!
A5- 1st step- take a deep breath. Our families, students, and staff need us to be focused and calm. From there, continue to involved all stakeholders in the process and lean on your team. Open communication is key! None of us can do this work alone. #LeaderEdChat
A4: Regular communication with families and students is absolutely key! Schedule 1:1 time to listen and then develop a plan to improve. Trainings for students and families is a must! #LeaderEdChat
A3: I think this one comes down to relationships and building a community. If your students feel safe, they won’t feel the need to cheat. Also, learning is a process so I have no problem with a guardian helping a child. This needs to be a team effort by all. #LeaderEdChat
@WPSLeadReader Hello! Yes, I love the idea of providing video feedback! What a great opportunity for kids to see you! This is something we also need to do as admin!
A2: I believe we can increase rigor with student choice and immediate feedback. We must engage our kids in meaningful individualized instruction. #LeaderEdChat
A1: I think relationships are at the forefront of everything we do, but I also feel like we need to teach kids responsibility and self management. I want my students to own their learning #leaderedchat
A4- I’m excited to get a blog set up and running for our school. We will post our monthly newsletter there as well as updates. I think it’s going to be a great way to keep everyone connected! Met with my PIC today, @WPSLeadReader, and feeling energized! @prestonlearns
