I have been asked on two different networks and by two different male hosts today whether abortion rights are as important to women as the economy. I can't say it more clearly: reproductive freedom is economic freedom. They are intrinsically intwined, as every woman knows.
His own Vice President will not be voting for him.
His former Chief of Staff will not.
His former Sec of Defense will not.
His former Nat Security Advisor will not.
His former Joint Chiefs Chair will not.
His former AG will not.
Because he’s dangerous and unfit for office.
“Both sides suck!”
Sure. I hear ya. But if we decide to have another kid, I don’t want my wife to die in childbirth like a fuckin pilgrim. So I voted democrat
Clayton County, GA voter: "I've never seen a president tweet so much out of emotions. So to say a female cannot run the country because of emotions... doesn't make sense."
Fun fact: In 2020, 'ClayCo' was the most pro-Biden county in all the swing states.
If you are voting for Trump after this rally, you support fascism. If you claim it's because of taxes or immigration or whatever issue makes you feel righteous about supporting a fascist, you're like an Italian supporting Mussolini because he made the trains run on time.
I keep hearing that I shouldn’t let politics interfere with friendships.
Motherfucker, if you think 11 million immigrants need to be rounded up and put in camps, we are not going to be friends.
Barely 1% of Germans were Jewish in 1935.
Carving off a tiny, politically weak, marginalized group and weaponizing hatred and fear of them to create a scapegoat for all the nation's ills is literally Step 1 in the fascism playbook.
Undocumented immigrants are not the reason you aren't receiving social services! Undocumented immigrants can't even apply for social services! The U.S. government simply refuses to adequately fund social services! Hope this helps!
Hitler united his base with hate for jewish people.
Trump unites his base with hate for immigrants.
History repeating itself. Same old, fascist rhetoric of hate.
Just a casual reminder that Germans who “didn’t bother to vote” in 1932 didn’t get a chance again until 1946, after Hitler’s death. — There’s a lesson there.
Florida is recovering from one hurricane while another is on the way.
-The Republican Governor is refusing to talk with the President to coordinate hurricane relief
-All Florida Republicans in Congress voted against supplemental disaster relief money for FEMA
-82 House Republicans, including 11 from Florida, voted to shut down the government, knowing a powerful hurricane was on its way
-The Republican-controlled House took a vacation for the month of August instead of passing a budget on time, which means no new FEMA budget
-The Republican Speaker of the House is refusing to reconvene Congress from their second month-long vacation to pass emergency supplemental funds for FEMA
-The Republican presidential nominee continually lies about the federal disaster response instead of making sure his voters have the correct information to receive help
-The Republican party wants to eliminate FEMA and NOAA (the agency that monitors, tracks, and predicts the path of hurricanes)
-The Republican Party refuses to acknowledge climate change while watching insurance companies leave Florida because increasingly stronger storms are making insurance claims too expensive to operate
Florida, why do you keep voting for the party that not only does nothing for you but actively works against your best interests?
