You see, back in 2013, I used to be that guy with brilliant ideas but who did absolutely nothing about them.

One day, I attended a pitch event where they needed four business ideas. I submitted three… and they picked all three.

They called my name once. Then again. Then a third time.

And the crowd would murmur each time: “It’s the same guy, he’s already up there!”

So instead of four different people standing on stage, it was just me and one other person. And there I was, standing tall, grinning like a fool, full of pride.

But I later realized something that changed my life: that ideas are BS.

Because I never executed any of them. I kept “refining”, endlessly polishing ideas.

Then one day, I woke up and decided to stop overthinking.

I built my first website, launched my first info product… and soon, I was making enough small change to “pimp up” my small room in our family house and buy an old Audi 80.

That’s when I learned one of the most powerful business lessons ever:
Execution is all that matters.

Sometimes, you just have to jump in and figure things out as you go, ideas are just mental farts.

The people who make the most headway in life are not the ones with genius ideas.

They’re the ones who take something simple… and push the living daylight out of it.

It gets very depressing.

Makes you feel like you are not doing enough, right?

You see, life happens in stages.

Today while paying something, something that i couldn’t afford to pay for just a few years ago. The funny thing is that this isn’t even much expense but I struggled to afford it.

This stage where I was in is called ‘’The struggling stage’’, usually this is where you start.

Then you get a job.

Or start a business

And the business starts bringing in small money and you move to stage 2.

The Comfortable Stage.

This is where you get a nice apartment, a good car and you are comfortable. You are okay, basic amenities aren't a problem.

You can comfortably pay rent in a sweet part of town.

Next is Ultra-Comfortable.

Dan Lok says this is where you get to buy the car YOU WANT and not the one you need. You can buy a house now.

Now you have a HUNGRY market you sell to. And you are now building a business around it.

You are making real good money.

You may even be considered rich by some people, but don’t be deceived.

The final stage is the Rich stage. The actual rich stage.

To hit this stage you need to either focus on a high paying career or ONE BUSINESS.

Your business grows exponentially

It is like what happened with Akin Alabi and his nairabet business.

Then the final stage is the wealthy stage.

When MONEY stops being a problem.

This is the Jeff Bezos, and the Mark Zuckerberg stage.

So why am I sharing this with you?

So you can relax.

We are legit hustlers, we don’t blow - we grow.

So you will need to pass through these steps to get to the top.

If you see anyone who seems like they are doing better than you, it is only because they are a step in front of yours.

You too can get to that point too.

You just need to move through the steps.

I was watching a documentary recently.

…about the eagle.

It can live up to 70 years.

…but at 40 years, something sad happens to it. They are faced with a challenge that can kill them.

Its beak gets curved. So biting at things becomes hard.

The wing gets thick, so flying high becomes difficult

Their claws get blunt so they can’t tear into prey

And they are now faced with two options -

Transform or die from hunger.

But to transform is painful. Very painful for the eagle.

This is because they need to get on a mountain.

And hit their beaks against stone till it tears out, then grow back a new one

Then they need to tear out their claws (imagine tearing out your fingers from the root)

…after that, they’d need to also TEAR OUT their feathers so they can grow fresh wings.

All of this takes around 150 days. Of Pain.

It is how the world works.

Pain happens.
…but there are two kinds of people

People that stay in their pain and feel bad about themselves, and complain how the world is such a terrible place.

How they don’t have capital

How they don’t have support.

…and then there are the ‘’Eagle People’’ who go through their 150 days & transform.
