Your customers are now writing part of your Google ad.
Google's AI can add a summary of your online reviews to your Search ads. It's positive-only, it pulls from reviews across the web, and you can't edit it.
Here's what that means for a small business 🧵
Your reviews are now part of your ad copy.
At DareLabs, we set up automatic review requests after every job, so the reviews behind your ads stay fresh.
Don't give an AI agent your bank password.
Big US banks are finding outside AI agents inside customer accounts, Axios reported Oct 22. Some appeared to act without the account holder's instructions.
How they got in: in many cases, customers handed the agent their username and password. CBS News reports that goes against bank terms of service. Banks are now moving outside agents to read-only access.
If an AI tool touches your business money, set it up like this:
1. Connect through your bank's own tools or a read-only connection. Never your login.
2. Keep every money move behind your own yes. The agent can draft a payment. You send it.
3. Check your bank's online agreement for its rules on AI agents and shared logins.
This is how we set agents up at DareLabs. They read your numbers and draft the work. Anything that touches money waits for your approval.
Save this for the next time an AI tool asks for your login.
@gregisenberg From the owner's side, one thing to settle before signing.
If the person who set it up disappears, you should still own the logins, the phone number and the customer list.
OpenAI released GPT-6.1 Terra today. It's live in ChatGPT Work and Codex on Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise and Edu, not regular chat.
For a small business, test it on real paperwork first: one proposal, one form, one screenshot. Check every number before anything goes out.

Gusto says it serves "more than half a million small businesses." Image is an illustrative example, not Gusto's screen.
Your payroll can now prep itself. You still press the button.
Gusto now connects to Claude, ChatGPT and other AI tools. Owners can ask payroll questions, prep payroll and pull reports, and "they approve every change before it's final."
Before each payroll, an agent can send "a prioritized list of decisions" that need you.
If you're on Gusto, ask it one payroll question this week. Sources in the first reply.
New Pennsylvania law, from Dec 21, 2026: if AI-made or AI-edited images, video or audio in your ad could mislead about the product, label it as AI content.
Text-only ads are exempt. AI text paired with an image isn't.
We build ad workflows that label AI content automatically.
@favoritetechgal Depends less on the platform than on what happens after the click.
A slow page or an inquiry nobody answers for a day makes both convert badly.
@vadimvchumak This is the part the prompt lists skip. A bank export has no categories, no accruals and no owner draws split out. Garbage in, confident answer out.
@ViralKumar2841 Fair. The per-minute price is the API alone. Phone number, calendar hookup, setup and someone checking the transcripts all sit on top. Judge it by booked jobs, not cost per minute.
Your next receptionist might cost 4 cents a minute.
Two voice AI launches landed on Oct 20:
1. Mistral's Voxtral 3 voice agent listens, reasons, uses tools and speaks in one real-time flow. During a call it can verify a caller, check a bill or book an appointment.
2. Its listed price: $0.04/min for the voice agent API with Mistral Small 4. $0.08/min with a larger model.
3. ElevenLabs' Eleven Realtime: each model is a complete voice agent. v1 Max is aimed at customer support, lead qualification and multi-step workflows.
The honest math:
- $0.04/min is the API only. Your phone line, setup and testing aren't in that number.
- Build in a handoff to a real person for the calls AI shouldn't take.
Missed calls are missed customers. This just got cheaper to fix.

@JeremySpecials Fastest check for an owner: log in to your host and look up which PHP version the site runs. If you can't log in or don't know who the host is, that's the first thing to fix.
Anthropic launched Claude Duet on Oct 21: an AI agent that works in the background and checks with you before it acts. Small-business owners should pay attention, because Anthropic says it was built for professionals and small business owners.
What Duet does
- Sends you a morning brief across your email and calendar
- Checks your connected apps every few hours
- Comes with a small business plugin
- Asks before it sends, pays, signs or deletes
It's a research preview, waitlist only, for US Pro and Max subscribers, at no extra cost during the preview.
How it compares
Claude Duet
+ Built for small business owners
+ Asks before it sends, pays, signs or deletes
- Waitlist only: US Pro & Max
- Anthropic says it can misjudge urgency
Best for: owners who live in email and calendar.
ChatGPT Dots
+ Connects to 4,000+ apps
+ You set how much it does alone
- Gets stuck at CAPTCHAs
- From $100/mo; not in UK or EU
Best for: supervised research and office work.
Grok Bot
+ Several Bots work in parallel
+ Keeps working with your laptop closed
- Bots share one computer and logins
- Some sites block it
Best for: repetitive work across many apps.
Meta Muse
+ Free tier; $20 Power plan
+ Never sees your passwords
- Trains on your chats by default
- US only
Best for: low-stakes chores on a budget.
Bottom line
If your business runs on email and calendar and you're on Claude Pro or Max in the US, join the Duet waitlist. If you want an agent connected to thousands of apps and you'll supervise it, look at Dots. If you have repetitive work spread across many apps, look at Grok Bot. If you want to try an agent cheaply on low-stakes chores, start with Muse.
