@DonEford Got new Novavax yesterday at Kaiser. Most nurses were wearing masks.. I was one of a few patients with a mask in a crowded room of folks waiting for MRNA shots. Was lucky to not have to stand in line because I requested Novavx when I arrived. They had 10 in the fridge. 🙏

@DonEford Been 6 mos. since I had 2nd vax. Asking Kaiser if they have it, but probably not the new one I’m guessing. Should I get it if they do or wait till fall. Or should I get Moderna to be covered with something or wait? NYT said today, the FDA is poised to restrict vaccines to 65 +

@drseanmullen @Novavax I got my Novavax at Kaiser 10/3.. waiting eight weeks to get the next one.. I have no idea as to whether they will have it there or not end of November.

@Tim_Jamesc @drseanmullen Got the Novavx vaccine a couple days ago. Had a bit of a migraine, a bit tired but that’s it. On day 3 ..still a bit of soreness in arm but not bad. … been able to work.. so much better than Moderna & Pfizer vaccines in terms of reaction.

@Tim_Jamesc @drseanmullen Just got my Novavax vaccine. I was put on a list and they called me so I ran down to Kaiser to get it. They said they only had 10 doses of it so I was lucky to get this …will let folks know if I experience any side effects. 🙏

@Tim_Jamesc @drseanmullen No, they didn’t but I could tell that they must have a contract with Pfizer/Moderna. I was the only one that requested Nvvx The nurse was not very friendly about it. I spoke to another nurse & she couldn’t even pronounce mRNA & said Novavax wasn’t as effective I knew that was BS

@Bob_Dobalina30 @drseanmullen When I went into Kaiser they didn’t have it and nurse administering shot asked for my Kaiser # & name, wrote it down, and said that they would have it ordered in the next five days. I’m also going to leave my Doctor a msg and ask her to make sure Novavax is ordered for me.

@Tim_Jamesc @drseanmullen My husband barely had any side effects with Novavax. Little tired afterwards, but it didn’t last very long. So if I can’t get it eight weeks later, will I be OK waiting till whenever the next one rolls out at Kaiser, which would probably be six months I’m guessing..or more?

@tiktokcrok @drseanmullen Yes, did that & waiting now. But they said I can’t get it 8 weeks later, said they won’t do that. My husband had the same problem at CVS. He got it there, but they won’t give another in 8 weeks.. is it better to get one than not at all, or get MRNA? obstacles at every turn.Thanks
