Scientist Donald Hoffman says "Consciousness creates our brains, not our brains creating consciousness"

Dr. Hoffman reveals that consciousness does not come from our cells or the "physical" world. It is not a result of the chemistry in our brains or even the neurons.

He has used evolutionary game theory to demonstrate that we have evolved not to see the world as it is, but instead, we have a 'projection' of the world based on what we need from it, evolutionarily. Essentially, our brain constructs only the things that benefit us for survival. We only perceive the basics; our bodies don't have the ability to detect things that don't increase our chances of survival. Therefore, our scientific theories are based on only what we can see, hear, or detect. We have created models for our brains' projections of the universe, not the universe itself. Science is stuck thinking in terms of space and time, rather than the bigger picture.

Consciousness, in his theory, isn't created physically. It's something else that we can't see. Perhaps it's dark matter, perhaps something else entirely, but consciousness is based on the "conscious network"; basically, our brains act as interfaces for this. Consciousness comes to us, and when we die, it remains in the conscious network potentially.

Mexican Congress holds second UFO session featuring Peruvian mummies

Mexico's Congress heard from researchers on Tuesday who declared authentic a set of three-fingered Peruvian mummies recently presented as potential evidence of non-human life forms, while declining to certify that the remains were extraterrestrial.

Anthropologist Roger Zuniga of San Luis Gonzaga National University in Ica Peru said researchers had studied five similar specimens over four years.

"They're real," Zuniga told Reuters on the sidelines of the session.

"There was absolutely no human intervention in the physical and biological formation of these beings," he added, saying he didn't know the origin of the beings.

Zuniga presented a letter signed by 11 researchers from the university declaring the same. The letter made clear, however, they were not implying the bodies were "extraterrestrial".

Jaime Maussan's first presentation was criticized by many experts who dismissed it as a stunt long debunked by the scientific community, pointing to studies on similar remains that concluded the specimens were modified using animal and human bones.

When asked about those studies, Zuniga said the specimens were probably fake. The bodies that he and the other university researchers looked at, however, were real, he said

Tuesday's session, at times, dipped into a more extreme explanation. Argentine surgeon Celestino Adolfo Piotto said he believed, after reviewing test results and images of the bodies, they were an evolved version of today's human beings, calling them "our descendants".

I remain extremely skeptical about these mummies because of Jaime Maussan's track record. Even Anthropologist Roger Zuniga says in this article that similar mummies promoted by Jaime Maussan in the past were probably fake but these new mummies are real. 🤷‍♂️
