The current hack going through communities on discord is a bit more sophisticated than the "art scam" one. The person will attempt to talk like the account they are impersonating and try to get you to click on a link which will steal your login, making your account unrecoverable

Discord as a company is untrustworthy. UK users were assured after the online safety act that our verification would be the only time it was required. Now fast forward to today, UK users are being asked to reverify even when discord has already confirmed them as adults

Watch out peeps, scam accounts are back on the rise on discord. Some of them now will ask you whether you are an artist before going into pretending to be one themselves.
I assume because of the rise of people just saying they are an artist to mess with them
