Gary Numan's daughter @raven_numan will almost certainly be involved in the @darkerwavesfest. She lives in the Los Angeles area. His other daughter Persia may also be there.

Soft Cell will appear at the @darkerwavesfest without Dave Ball who has died. Longtime collaborator Phil Larsen is filling in on stage to handle Ball's instrumentals. The 21-date tour runs through June and July, with stops at historic venues like the Hollywood Bowl on June 4.

In USA, @Vice announced the lineup for the Darker Waves Festival to be held on the Beach in Los Angeles. Some excellent bands on the lineup are not receiving press. Adam Ant, Modern English, The Buzzcocks and Missing Persons are on the bill.
