James Watt Brewdog's CEO is worth £262,000,000 he is refusing to raise the wage of his staff in London by the £1 an hour to keep them at the National Living Wage.
Brewdog is apparently a 'nice' company, but wage freezes don't seem very nice.
Do they?
@PhilWalkable @AlanMCole Outlook, teams, and office365 are the most egregiously broken lumps of shite I have ever had to kick out of the way to get to an SSH session which is where I (thankfully) do 99% of my work
VS Code is the only MS product that doesn’t suck only because MS don’t make vacuum cleaners
@PhilWalkable @AlanMCole I don’t want to explore
I’m not looking for an adventure
I don’t want to have to hover over every damned letter, ellipsis, chevron, highlight, and underline just to find out if it does something
I want a consistent fecking tool to do my fecking job
And exhale…
@craig4monty Fine words butter no parsnips, Craig Williams
Sadly, you have generally voted against the interests of serving members and veterans of British Armed Forces: https://t.co/uqyoh3oFZX
@craig4monty He is _very_ keen on maximising rents for landlords, whilst minimising their liability for fire safety in their properties: https://t.co/DZ8MMqOsqA
@craig4monty Sadly, Craig Williams does not back UK farmers by voting to require that the standards of imported food should match that grown by UK farmers, as can be seen by his parliamentary voting record: https://t.co/vpORC1mgho
@SewellMartin@BladeoftheS And when a government changes the law?
I seem to remember that all the Nazis did to their own citizens was done legally because the Nazis made the laws
The ECHR was created to ensure that would never be repeated amongst its signatories
@Giesien715@implausibleblog@MartinSLewis Almost
Its £370M up front plus £150k to swap one of ours for an asylum seeker from Rwanda
1 in, 1 out
That’s the deal as far as I’ve been able to work it out
@Rainmaker1973 Looks like a perfect square from the equivalence marks on the sides
Sum is 34 sq cm so the nearest bigger squares are 36 and 49
49 - 34 is 15 sq cm
The strikes this week have not been caused by junior doctors
They’ve been caused by a Government that has taken healthcare professionals for granted for far too long
Please RT if you can see through the Government spin and back the junior doctors
All they want is fair pay.
@McelroyRietta@alexweprin@caringguy1957 Meta? Microsoft? Google? Musk?
What claim do any of them have on the logo of the Unix desktop people like me have been using for the last 35 years?
