Until we are more upset by having to teach active shooter responses to our elementary school children than we are of teaching them that some of their classmates might have 2 moms or 2 dads, we will forever be broken.
@SpringboroHSLax@STroknya Glad it was addressed and didn’t mean to single out Boro. This was mostly a statement about the state of parenting, entitlement, social media toughness getting confused with real life and overall respect for other people… ya know… kindness.
Reviewing the various regional @laxrankings, the Sportsmanship Differential (SD) seems off to me. I know the data is not available, but SD should be at the end of the 3rd. I see way too many games where teams grind their starters in the 4th up by 10+.
@edj_FL@ToddBivins@firstclasslax_@EastCoastDyes This sparks a thought - who else is seeing lots of broken sticks during games lately? Either checking is heating up or sticks are getting brittle. Hadn't thought much about it until now.
@ToddBivins@firstclasslax_@EastCoastDyes I'm with you here. It's as if the only way to learn a life lesson is carrying a random piece of gear. Plenty of good kids are being developed despite the gesture of a parent giving a F. Carrying gear is the modern day equivalent of walking in a foot of snow to school.
