Making over $165K but still not maxing out a Roth IRA?
You're literally leaving thousands in tax-free gains on the table. πΈ
The Backdoor Roth is 100% legal and takes less than 30 minutes to set up.
Here's your exact 2026 playbook: π§΅π
I almost quit selling premium on a red afternoon.
The plan hadn't changed. Only my mood had. The edge is just still being here next month.
Ever had a day like that?
#OptionsTrading#ThetaGang
Some mornings I don't want to open my brokerage app.
Selling premium never got easier. I just got better at sitting still on the days the plan was built for.
Do you look, or look away?
#OptionsTrading#ThetaGang
I still doubt myself on red days.
Selling premium doesn't remove that. It just gives me a plan to read when my head is lying to me.
What do you reread when the doubt gets loud?
#OptionsTrading#ThetaGang
I stopped needing to be right. That's what selling premium really changed.
Now I just want to get paid for being patient, even when patience feels like doubt in a trench coat.
Do you trade to be right, or to get paid?
#OptionsTrading#ThetaGang
I used to guess how my month was going.
Trades in one tab. Notes in another. The rest in my head.
ThetaStreak fixes that one thing. It keeps a running log of every premium trade I sell, so I see the real picture in one place.
Numbers, not vibes.
How do you track your premium right now?

Did you subtract the same put premium twice?
Plenty of wheel trackers do.
Basis is your net cost per share. When I'm assigned, the put premium already lowers it. That credit is spent.
Then covered call premium lowers it further while I hold the shares. That's a new credit.
β Count each credit once
β Use one basis method for the whole chain
Lower basis doesn't remove market risk. Fees and broker tax basis can differ too.

Which credit do you forget to track? #OptionsTrading
Nobody claps when an option expires worthless.
No fireworks, just a quiet deposit. Some weeks I miss the rush. Then I remember boring is the paycheck.
Do you trade for the rush or the rent?

Sold a put on $SPY
Strike: $700
Contracts: 1
Premium: $246
Breakeven: strike minus the premium
Collateral: $70,000
If SPY stays above $700, I keep the $246. If it drops below, I buy 100 shares at $700, and my cost is lowered by the premium.
I closed it after 5 days. That was 0.4% on the capital. I'm happy owning the index either way.

Sold a covered call on $TSLA
Strike: $422.50
Contracts: 1
Net premium: $304
Collateral: $42,250 (my 100 shares)
Held: Oct 26 to Nov 4, 9 days
Someone paid me for the right to buy my shares at $422.50.
If price stays below the strike, I keep the shares and the $304. If it goes above, the shares sell at $422.50 and I still keep the $304.
I closed it Nov 4 for 0.7% on capital, or 29.2% annualized. Happy with the shares or the cash.
Ever sold a covered call?

Watching someone's lottery ticket double while I collect small checks still stings.
I sell premium anyway. Boring pays the bills, and I'm still here.
What keeps you in it on the slow days?
#OptionsTrading#ThetaGang
Some days the premium feels too small for the stress.
Then the stock I wanted anyway gets cheaper, and I remember the job. I get paid to wait.
What keeps you in the seat on red days?
#OptionsTrading#ThetaGang
The hardest trade I make is the one where I do nothing.
Green day, I want to sell more. Red day, I want to quit. The plan says wait, and time keeps paying the toll.
What's the hardest part for you to sit through?
#OptionsTrading#ThetaGang
My trade log used to be a spreadsheet I avoided.
Sell puts across several strikes and expirations and the tracking gets messy fast.
ThetaStreak keeps every trade and the premium collected in one place. I can see what's open and what's paid without rebuilding it.

My worst days selling premium are the ones where I did everything right.
Plan followed. Levels set. Account still red.
Then I open the screen the next morning anyway. Time pays slowly, but it shows up. Ever had a day like that?
#OptionsTrading#ThetaGang
Nobody claps when an option expires worthless.
No fireworks. Nothing happens, and that was the whole trade. It took me a long time to learn to love boring.
Has it clicked for you yet?
#OptionsTrading#ThetaGang
I nearly closed everything at the worst possible moment.
The screen was red. My gut was loud. The plan said wait.
Most of this job is sitting still while your brain argues. What's the hardest hold you've ever made?
#OptionsTrading#ThetaGang
Nobody tells you the hardest trade is the one where you do nothing.
The account is red. Every instinct says fix it. The plan says wait.
Waiting is most of the job. What's the hardest thing you've had to sit through? #ThetaGang
Some red days I want to quit selling premium.
I doubt everything. Then I remember I picked these stocks on purpose, and time is still on my side.
What gets you through yours?
#OptionsTrading#ThetaGang
My spreadsheet thinks every roll is a brand new trade.
Rolling means closing an option and opening a later one. The old premium sits in one row. The new premium sits in another.
Nothing shows what I actually collected on the position.
ThetaStreak links the rolls into one trade. One net premium. One breakeven.
How do you track your rolls?

The hard part of selling premium isn't the math.
It's the red day, when doubt asks if this even works. I let it talk and stick to the plan.
Calm isn't a feeling. It's a habit.
Ever doubt your plan mid-drawdown?
