@livvyivvyivvy This looks like colic. Baby absolutely wants to be held. Putting them down is far worse. If you’ve never experienced colic you really don’t know wtf you’re talking about.
@strugglesaurus Because he was talking to a 911 dispatcher while she was dying at his feet. Please stfu 😩 I don’t even know how old I AM some days. I absolutely would say 38-39 if I was talking about my husband because you often FORGET after thirty.
@freganmitts Reading the comments on this gave me legit dread for humanity because y’all are so fuckin stupid oh my god 😭 This is high-school biology and conceptually it is intuitive if you have any critical thinking skills at all
@QueensSpeec1 Do you think there’s only one kind of psychiatric medication? 😭 She was taking benzos and ambien, she needed antipsychotics and mood stabilizers.
@RealBrittHughes@mtt516 She and her children were failed by a system and now she’s trying to hold that system accountable which will potentially lead to policy change that can prevent this happening in the future
@Jimbob6161@thechosenberg This is what I do for my elementary school aged children and it works great🥰 you can also give them lil crafts to decompress if you want to limit their screen time.
@Lady_of_Paradox Yes! But actually the suffering is endless and worse than you could possibly imagine. It’s worth it, but like be prepared to sacrifice everything and never know peace again. Hope this helps 🙏🏻
@AlliAlliG You sleep differently when they’re really tiny, it’s very light. You make sure the room itself is warm. By the time they’re four months they can latch on themselves and you don’t even wake up anymore.
@Cortright_ok@ThosVarley It still enhancing your performance. It’s just that when you have ADHD your baseline performance is shitty lol I have severe ADHD. I feel like I have dementia when I don’t take my meds.
@allmissiles@ThosVarley What research is there to support this? I’m genuinely asking because I haven’t found it and I’ve been looking 😭 I take stimulants for severe ADHD and I have some misgivings…
@Kalman2020@ThosVarley@thomasbrookside This is such a nebulous concept. ADHD is not a discrete biological condition that can be identified through medical testing. There are multiple reasons someone may meet clinical criteria for an ADHD diagnosis and respond well to stimulants.
@kepe__@ThosVarley There is so much variation metabolically between people whether they meet clinical criteria for ADHD or not. Someone with severe ADHD can hyper respond at a low dose. Someone who doesn’t meet clinical criteria at all can require a high dose to notice any effect.
@ThosVarley I have been screaming this into a void for years and nobody cares. They are all convinced that if you “really have ADHD” it’s somehow different for you. Zero critical thinking skills.
I don't know who needs to hear this but you can (and should imo) reduce the sleep deprivation by simply sleeping next to your baby with a boob out. It doesn't have to be complicated
