While the Marian title “co-redemptrix” enjoys considerable revered use, in light of the guidance of “Mater Populi Fidelis,” I for one would readily welcome a more appropriate term such as “subredemptrix” to describe Mary’s cooperation in our salvation.
@Converted84@SurrexitVere@Michael_J_Matt No actually the expression Pope Leo XIII employs there in the Latin text is “servandi consors”—partner in salvation. Same concept, just different phraseology.
JUST IN: New Book Supports Authenticity of Official Vatican Report
The just-released Italian book contains not only the sections of the Vatican report I published on July 1 but also important additional findings on the CDF’s survey of bishops. More here: https://t.co/x7xRzcncUu
Matteo Bruni's response to my question asking for an official confirmation of the authenticity of leaked Vatican documents on the Traditional Latin Mass.

A quick reminder:
We dont know the Bishops opposed Traditionis custodes because of an executive summary.
We know because they mostly ignored the decree, despite Francis saying it was by "your request" he acted.
The executive summary is factual evidence they didn't request it.
@breeadail@seanparoski I don't think any of us really care about the journalistic ethics, of which you and Diane are free to debate.
I think most people are interested in "is it true", and the words today seem to lend credence to them in fact being true, even if you can debate their meaning.
Full English translation of Matteo Bruni's response to a question from my colleague @HannahBrockhaus who asked if he would clarify the recent report by @dianemontagna on the CDF documents: “I’ll take the floor because I don’t believe this is a question relevant to today’s press conference, where we are speaking about the Mass for the Care of Creation; these are two different topics. However, perhaps just for information it might be useful to know: I do not confirm the authenticity of the texts that were published, which presumably concern part of one of the documents on which the decision was based, and as such, they contribute to a reconstruction that is also very partial and incomplete with regard to the decision-making process [that led to Traditionis Custodes]. In fact, additional documentation, other confidential reports — also the result of further consultations — were later added to the cited consultation and were received by the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith. All right. But beyond this, I have nothing more to say.”
Although Vatican spokesman Matteo Bruni would not confirm the authenticity of the leaked CDF documents on the survey of bishops that led to restrictions on the TLM, he told reporters today they contribute to only a "very partial and incomplete" reconstruction "of the decision-making process" and that "additional documentation" was consulted. @NCRegister has therefore asked @HolySeePress if, given the gravity of the matter, it will be releasing all the documentation that led to Traditionis Custodes.
EXCLUSIVE: Official Vatican Report Exposes Major Cracks in Foundation of Traditionis Custodes.
Previously undisclosed text raises serious questions about the stated rationale for Pope Francis’ decree restricting the TLM. My inaugural article on Substack: https://t.co/em3E9IVpJj
