@EdLatimore My wife and I have none, but our 22mo son has a severe peanut allergy. I carry an Epi-pen everywhere in my back pocket, still haven't had to use it.
@Holmes1618@traderDanielle Nope! Cut out all alcohol/liquid calories a few years ago, stopped eating out unless it's a special occasion, and forced myself to become more active (chasing a toddler has helped too😆)
You could go to craigslist or your favorite marketplace site, and look for a used networked color laser printer. Brother or Dell are good choices. Way less than $400, uses Toner instead of Ink so no more smearing in wet conditions or drying out if you don't print often, and lasts thousands of pages per cartridges.
@MomAngtrades@Pogo881 Unfortunately people value education based on what they pay for it. If it's free, nobody will care or pay attention, no matter how valuable the material.
@thomaschattwill Brand recognition (you will see their logo on the device your trust and use daily). Increasing lifetime value of their clients (easy to advertise other products in their catalog). Data collection (market research, or in shady brands days harvesting to sell to 3rd parties)
@AndersChiTown Agreed it doesn't make sense in most cases. Prices probably won't move much here in TX during the main production window of a solar system... Could be a big factor in areas with aggressive climate action planned for 2030-2040 timeframe though
@AndersChiTown Energy prices are going up. You can make your own future power at a set cost paid for now. Honestly, we bought solar with battery mainly to have a backup from power outages or grid issues more than saving money though.
@adamscrabble Wordpress is ubiquitous. Anything with such a large target area is bound to attract swarms of bots looking for easy exploits, and there's no shortage of less-then-secure installs for the bots to propagate.
@angela4LNCChair My new Ford has an app and many of the remote control features my Tesla has. Remote hacking, shutting down, etc are not exclusive-to-EV problems.
As for grid fears, is it easier to make your own gas or electricity? 🌅🤷🙂
