Poor, pathetic, incompetent little @Ofwat has released its annual appraisal of WC's performance, as you'd expect it's grim.
Major pollution incidents up, customer satisfaction down, sewer flooding up, drinking water quality down, leakage up and on and on. Another annual litany of failure, that's what 35 years of regulation get you. Nothing!

Since Trump Tower Chicago is a thing right now, let me tell you a little story.
I have a friend (we'll call him John to protect his identity) who runs a successful painting company in Chicago. They do a lot of large projects like skyscrapers and what not.
He had an employee (we'll call him Bob) that had been with him for a long time who was like his "second" in command and my friend paid him well.
Bob was able to salt away enough of his own money to start his own business. John gave him his blessing and a bonus gift to help him get his business going. He'd also refer jobs he didn't want to take to Bob.
After a few years, Bob's business was going strong when the Trump Tower Chicago job became available.
Bob asked John about it, and John told him not to take it. He told Bob that he had it on good authority that Trump never pays his bills.
Now, there are a couple of things you should know.
*This was The Apprentice era, long before Trump was a politician.
*John was (and still is) a resolute Reagan and Bush loving Republican who I had argued with many times.
Bob took the job anyway, taking out loans and putting (I think) over $1 million into it.
He finished the job, and Trump never paid. When he sued, Trump managed to put off the trial until Bob had to declare bankruptcy again.
Now Bob works for John again while he tries to pay off his debt.
I moved away from Chicago in 2012 and lost touch with John. One day in 2016 I get a Facebook Message from him: "Has anyone checked the weather in hell?"
"What?" I replied.
"Because I'm going to vote for Hillary Clinton."
There are literally thousands of stories like this.
Trump always says it's because they didn't do the job adequately, but he had never anyone come "fix" the job. Trump is a deadbeat.
Donald Trump does not care for the ordinary blue collar worker. He destroys them.
