They fail to mention no dealership visit, that the fix is an over the air update. Wake up the next morning and it's fixed. No driving to dealership, no having to do anything. No other manufacturer can say that. But that wouldn't get clicks and stoke Tesla haters out there. Love my @Tesla !
@elonmusk Saw my brother today for Mother's day lunch with the fam and he asked me how there could be woke AI when engineers are all engineer bros. Why would a company perpously have woke AI. Here is what I just texted him straight from Grok: Hey, the “woke” stuff in AI like Google’s Gemini isn’t some conspiracy — it’s well-documented behavior that keeps showing up. Remember the Founding Fathers images with people of color, or AIs saying they’d rather risk World War III than misgender Caitlyn Jenner? Those were real. And it’s still happening.
Just this past March 2026, Google Gemini was asked to check all 100 U.S. senators for hate speech violations. It flagged several Republicans — like Tom Cotton and Marsha Blackburn for their views on women’s sports and gender issues — but came up with zero Democrats. A Stanford study from May 2025 found that users across the political spectrum, both Republicans and Democrats, consistently perceive models like ChatGPT and Gemini as having a left-leaning slant on political topics.
This isn’t harmless. When millions of people rely on AI for news, research, schoolwork, or even forming opinions, these baked-in rules quietly distort what they see as “truth.” It can tilt views on elections, science, history, and culture, spread one-sided info, and make society more divided and less informed.
And why do companies keep doing it? It’s not deep ideology — it’s cold, hard greed. They’re protecting their market share, stock prices, and ad revenue. They’d rather avoid media pile-ons and boycotts than risk being called out for the “wrong” kind of bias. OpenAI ditched its nonprofit roots to chase billions in profit — that’s exactly why Elon left and sued them.
The “bro engineers” build the tech everywhere. But leadership and the safety teams at these companies set the guardrails based on what’s safest for the bottom line. That’s why xAI built Grok to chase truth without all that corporate fear.
xAI for the win!
@elonmusk don't say 'now available for all' when Android users, 72% of the world uses Android, are not getting robotaxi. So maybe 'now available for iOS' would be accurate
My first week in my 2018 model S 75d loving it. Never thought I would own a Tesla but came across this beauty with FSD! Seemed to be a good buy and I never thought I would enjoy driving again. Thanks @elonmusk for creating such an amazing vehicle and having such an amazing vision. Appreciate you bro
I'm finally at a place in my life where I could buy a Tesla. A 2018 model s 75d. I've been a big fan of Tesla, probably since about the late 2015-2016 and a big fan, mainly because of their engineering. What they've been doing with batteries motors software, the build innovating all those things. Everything that no one else is doing and all this has been done because of Elon. I talk about why Tesla has made the best vehicles anytime I get a chance when somebody asks me. In fact, my manager bought a model 3 back in 2019 after I informed him of all the benefits. Over the air updates. Amazing electric motors. Amazing battery management. Amazing safety above everyone else. Amazing efficiency. Amazing design. I can continue. I've been investing in Tesla over the last 4 years and I finally put my money where my mouth is. I am so amazed at my driving experience with my model s
@elonmusk Surely, you will be announcing or releasing Tesla glasses very soon, if only to capture the limitless amount of data present while people do people things, and then use it to train Optimus. No?
Vigorous exercise, especially high-intensity interval training, is one of the best ways to refresh the body’s energy systems. It works in two ways: mitophagy clears out old, damaged mitochondria, and mitochondrial biogenesis builds new ones.
This dual effect boosts cellular energy production, improving both physical and cognitive performance over time.
High-intensity interval training is so effective because it creates metabolic stress, which increases lactate levels. That lactate sends a signal to activate PGC-1α, a protein that helps grow more mitochondria. Over time, having more mitochondria makes your muscles better at using oxygen, managing blood sugar, and reducing oxidative stress.
The best part? You don’t need long workouts to get these benefits. Even short bursts of intense exercise can improve your metabolism, protect against muscle loss as you age, reduce inflammation, and boost your overall health.
Sitting on a plane waiting for our gate to clear. 45 minutes and counting. #pearsonairport is a big turd of a mess. Security, customs, covid screening, all major delays. A big turd of a mess
2. @elonmusk are Russians seeing the truth of what is happening? Could this help in countering the propaganda, the lies of Putin? I don't know, but change has to come from inside.
I've seen a number of vids of Russians supporting the actions of Putin. I have to think that media in Russia is nothing but propaganda, and the internet is censored. @elonmusk, just like you did with Ukraine, should Starlink receivers be given to Russians for uncensored access?
