If a MILLENNIAL is requesting you jump on a call it is because your dumbass can’t comprehend the very basic information in the emails.
I do not know a single one of my millennial peers that WILLINGLY makes phone calls.
More than two centuries ago, Father Hidalgo y Costilla’s church bell gave way to the cry of a people known as El Grito de Dolores — a call for freedom that would begin Mexico’s long struggle for independence.
Today, that same spirit of self-determination lives in Mexican New Yorkers who have helped build this city for generations — from the zapateros of Corona to the banda musicians of Sunset Park.
As we celebrate an independent Mexico, we also celebrate the Mexican New Yorkers who make our city great. And we recommit ourselves to defending their dignity and right to belong.
In moments of uncertainty and cruelty, New York City does not leave its own behind.
¡Viva México!

We are officially entering “Global Water Bankruptcy”.
The UN has announced that we will start running out of clean water (drinking, cooking, showering, dishes, laundry, etc.) in the next few years.
Water won't always be free. When clean water becomes scarce, it will be privatized, priced, and controlled. You will pay for it. And those who can't pay won't survive.
Data centers don’t actually need water. Data centers need cooling system and they are using water because it’s the most cheapest way to do it. Water should be for people before profits.
The world must remember that we live in a society, not an economy.
Climate grief is real. I feel like I am pre-mourning all that we will lose and mourning everything that is lost already. As I make my coffee and then have a hot shower I think to myself: enjoy this while it lasts. Enjoy the little things, you will need these memories later. When the water is gone. When the crops have failed. When the mass deaths reach your door too.
One thing I like about women…
If they don’t like you, they rarely touch you. No hugs, no random touches, no unnecessary physical contact.
They’ll treat you like a plague.
