Listen. Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses
Now that this is precedent, I look forward to the forthcoming lawsuits against both Chelsea and Man City from the rest of the clubs in the league. #EFC
EXCL: The Lawyer can reveal that Burnley has won its legal case against Everton over Everton's PSR breaches. The Toffees are to pay Burnley nearly £40m in damages and interest. Everton is expected to appeal.

@cmyers98@CBJ_Opinions Won’t argue that Larkin makes the team better. My opinion is that you don’t use significant assets to acquire a player to play in a position where you already have depth and approx 19-20m p/y in payroll once Fantilli signs.
And I guarantee Fantilli is the starting point for DET
@cmyers98@CBJ_Opinions I just have a hard time giving up what it would take to get him considering the position he plays is pretty well stocked right now, even with Jenner likely gone.
Not even sure Detroit takes the phone call if it doesn’t include Fantilli anyway
@cmyers98@CBJ_Opinions Yeah think I also said acquiring a guy like that is easier said than done, well aware. Don’t think I’m undervaluing Larkin at all. He’s below average 1C and a very good/elite 2C, mainly for his defensive attributes as you rightly mentioned…
@cmyers98@CBJ_Opinions Pretty sure I said in this thread that they need to swing for a 90-100 point winger. Fantilli is the 1C (hopefully). Larkin would be an elite 2C but you want to give significant assets for a 65-70 point guy? I’d rather use the very limited assets we do have to take a bigger swing
@DJK_43_29@CBJ_Opinions But much like Fantilli, you are essentially kneecapping a lot of what he brings to the table as a center if you stick him on the wing. Especially if he’s not got a legit 1C to play with. Sillinger already plays on the wing, and he’s not moving the needle at all for a Larkin trade
@CBJ_Opinions You’d pay 6.5m per year for a 4C? Won’t disagree that he produced like a bottom 6 guy last year. But he was clearly playing through an injury and they should have sat him down. Think you’d find more value out of trading him then you’d get with him playing 11 mins a night as a 4C
@daviddownie17 Should make clear (damn character limits): What’s the point in sacking Dyche and replacing with someone like Moyes who essentially does the same job? Just delays the ‘restart’ with the new manager we eventually want to build with
Absolutely disgusting considering what was on the line. Is this the “stability” that Kinnear is talking about? Nearly half the league qualify for Europe now, and just the tiniest bit of competence these last 6 games would have seen Everton qualify.
Now the season is a waste #EFC
