The DA-run CoCT has, arguably, done more to uplift informal areas than any other Metro in the country. Its record is superb. If you vote for any other party in the Metro on Nov. 4, know that you are voting for, an at least short term, downturn in such delivery.
@eNCA It's easy.
Remove minimum wage, allow foreign investment without the 30% theft attached to it.
Approve mining licences, remove BBEEE so that more entrepreneurs don't fear opening new businesses, lower interest rates, ban trade unions
@MmusiMaimane@BuildOneSA@rogersfeed If you want to live in a modern city, in a capitalist system, you let the supply / demand rule.
Or go communist and let the state build the ghetto blocks.
Supply / demand rules the prices, and like it or not, neither the city nor state must interfere.
