Since 3rd party clients have been forcibly removed from this platform you'll find me more and more active on the elephant platform.
Sad to see this going away, but such is life.
@RotterdamJUG@VoxxedAmsterdam@KoTurk77@dashorst It’s crazy how much frontend complexity has been normalized… until someone does things in a completely different way and makes everything look so clean and simple.
I’m a believer. @htmx_org
After a short presentation and a raffle by @VoxxedAmsterdam with a golden ticket 🎫 (by @KoTurk77) we have the first presentation of this evening:
Martijn @Dashorst is trying to get us to join the cult of HTMX…
Let’s see if he can convert us.
📣 Before the holiday season kicks in, let’s come together one more time.

The amazing @dashorst will introduce us to HTMX and Niels Meijer (from our host @WeAreFrankNL) will share how they implemented Kafka-like real-time updates using Hazelcast/Spring.
@smlpth@RiaannAd I think, but have not confirmed, that Bugsnag's Java integration is somewhat better (it automatically captures servlet parameters and such-I couldn't confirm that Sentry provides that). Other than that both seem on par.
Im this old that setting the clock back one hour does not result in "yea! one more hour of sleep", but rather "nay! one more hour of being awake at 3am instead of 4am"
