- SK hynix is in talks with Intel ($INTC) on a potential deal that could result in the Korean memory maker manufacturing chips in the U.S. for the first time, according to Reuters.

> The most interesting aspect is that SK hynix may not need to build a completely new U.S. fab from scratch. Using $INTC's Ohio infrastructure could reduce time-to-production and upfront CAPEX for SK hynix while giving Intel another path to improve utilization of its delayed Ohio assets.
