BREAKING: Donald Trump drowns legally as yet another attorney jumps ship from the former president as his legal problems increasingly grow insurmountable.

Jim Trusty, who had been tasked with saving Trump in his classified documents case as well as a crucial defamation lawsuit, ended all business with the indicted ex-president today.

Trusty wrote in his motion to cut off Trump as a client that the two of them are facing "irreconcilable differences" in a CNN defamation case that made it impossible for the lawyer to "effectively and properly represent" him.

Trusty had already broken off his attorney-client relationship on the doomed classified documents defense before announcing his departure from the defamation case.

Trump is desperate to strengthen his legal team, but is finding it harder and harder to find competent lawyers willing to represent him. Working for Trump is a professional curse that can — in some rare cases — even lead to a lawyer himself facing criminal probes as he's coerced into helping the lifelong criminal break the law.

Clearly, Trusty sees that Trump is radioactive and is hoping to escape the toxic blast. More and more it looks like Trump is headed to prison.
