Ahead of high winds with rain and snow across northern Ohio, the Ohio Turnpike and Infrastructure Commission has issued a TRAVEL BAN across the entire 241-mile toll road for all high-profile vehicles from 8 a.m. EST, Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2025, to 11:59 p.m., Thursday, EST, Nov. 27, 2025.

Yesterday, we officially cut the ribbon on Penta’s brand new E-Mobility building — a 14,196 sq. ft. space designed to power the next generation of electrical, mobility, and technology careers. ⚡️

Guests heard inspiring remarks from state and regional leaders before touring the flexible new labs connected to our main campus. As Superintendent Edward Ewers shared, “This has been an exciting project for Penta and we are looking forward to using our new flexible lab spaces to train students for in-demand careers in areas such as microgrids, alternative energy, autonomous and advanced mobility.”

He also announced the launch of Penta’s new Modern Power Technology program, which will begin its introductory courses next semester. 🔧

🚀 Registration is now OPEN for our Manufacturing Summer Camp, Making It in the 419! 🎉 Manufacturing Camp is designed for students entering grades 7-9 in the 2025-2026 school year who live in Wood County or a Penta member school district.

Over three action-packed days (June 10-12, 2025), campers will visit local manufacturing facilities, engage in hands-on STEM activities, and design, fabricate, and complete a part, all while exploring exciting career paths in manufacturing! 🔧

Our STEM Camps are also available this summer! 🌟 3rd - 5th graders can dive into culinary creations, science experiments, forensics, and more, while 6th - 9th graders can explore welding, health science, construction, and culinary arts, with advanced options available!
