Started reading this book and it's quite fun. Teaches about scaling models from first principles.
(Note: it's more TPU and JAX focused, but the same principles apply to GPUs as well)

@URozmej For agents it makes sense to have monorepos, as all the required context is right there. They donโt have to figure out on how many services a feature depends on.

Convenience trumps everything. People very skeptical about giving access to chatgpt for computer use, but not anymore. The popularity of such tools suggest otherwise.
@poteto I agree to your points and would like to know about your debugging process. Bugs are inevitable, so how does one debug the code which one doesnโt understand?
@thsottiaux , there is a ui bug in https://t.co/nLf2Smu6C8, once I make the pages full screen, it is difficult to go back. I have to carefully aim my cursor to go back.
So I decided to get ai pilled and stopped reading the code. Itโs been two weeks so far and seems to be going good.
Of-course most of the time I spend on writing functional tests. E.g โthis is how you can verify your changes are working correctlyโ
