After three straight matchweeks below its season average at 2.56, 2.89 and 2.33 goals per match, Matchweek 8 produced a season-high 3.67.

The 🇳🇱 Eerste Divisie could be next. Goals have dropped sharply over the past four matchweeks, bottoming out at just 2.50 last week.

The league is due, I don’t know what else to say. We should be seeing it return to its usual standards with a goal filled matchweek.

Last season they played the most high energy football I’ve ever seen but now there playing 2 games a week. I guess it’s just not realistic to play like that every match as it was last season when they had rest.

Also with the way they press from the front and having your 3 forwards with an avg age of 37 doesn’t help. Horrible job by the board this summer, I don’t play the manager.
