@avrldotdev I figured that out with AI after being able to create most solutions in hours versus months. It is futile to think that even if you’re great at AI, AI won’t replace you. And anything you create will be improved in a week.
All that will be left are owners and AI orchestrators.
@avrldotdev@arcstrike99 I agree, it will happen, but not for some time. Climbing in attics here in Texas with 200lbs of equipment requires agility. Robots are a ways out.
Furthermore, it requires licensing and supplies. An HVAC company will still exist, I’ll just employ robots at some point.
@arcstrike99@avrldotdev Exactly. It’s why this former exec and 30 year coder just bought an HVAC company.
It’s saw the writing on the wall after I gained expertise in AI.
@zuess05 The same as any other position that involves a computer and a process - nothing.
As an MIS major, I watched most business majors fail coding classes. It’s hard.
Now keep in mind, anything can be coded. Now AI can code…see where I am going?
AI is coming for everything.
@ZeClint My children choose to socialize through Christian groups and drinking is not as much fun. They are the happiest people I have seen in a while and they are just enjoying life without the influence of alcohol.
I think you’re missing the transition. Give it time. Christ is here.
@_The_Prophet__ Oh interesting. I thought it was because each one of my kids has stronger Christian faith and choose not to drink.
And I did not push Christianity. They found it through social circles.
I like my rationale better.
@ryancarson I am a former exec and coder who lost his job and then learned AI. Hands down I am 10x as productive now.
Here is what I tell people now - you’ll never be able to keep up with the change. Go start a business in a trade.
Eat or be eaten.
@BillWiIdin lol. So instead of doing a load of laundry I should be wasting my time driving in traffic? No thanks.
Hire self-managed, self-driven people to work remotely and they will produce more.
And whatever you do, run the other direction from managers like “Bill.”
@crypto_Nina1 Both are good but XRP likely has more upside in the immediate future.
We will soon know - passage of the Clarity Act will be a game changer.
@_andrewthecoder I was out of work for 14 months for the same reasons. I gave up waiting for someone to give me a job.
Now I am the proud owner of a HVAC franchise in Houston and in complete control of my destiny.
AI is coming for everything. I just figured it out before most.
@paigered3 It’s not just Houston anymore, it’s the suburbs as well. Everything changed abruptly after COVID and never went back.
My kids sit in classes with teachers that can hardly speak English. They can’t get into schools like A&M because the ratios are diluted from immigration. Sad.
