For those who, like me, have been away from beer twitter this summer. Catching up with a limerick:
There was talk of a seltzer called White Claw,
It seemed to threaten brewers big & small.
Platform was bought,
CBA was not,
And August Oktoberfest releases signaled an early fall.
'Twas the morning of #IPADay, when all through the house
INSATIABLE ANIMALS were stirring, foaming at the mouth.
Their Plineys and Headys stocked the fridge with great care
Knowing that whalez would be slayed with none to spare.
I don't understand how when you look at Mexican lager brands you see well designed esthetics with a regal touch. BUT WHEN CRAFT MAKES A MEXICAN LAGER IT LOOKS LIKE SPEEDY GONZALEZ AT LEBRON'S HOUSE FOR TACO TUESDAY
@mkallenberger @Beervana@Notteham@WIbeerbaron@BrewersStats Afraid I can't add much here either. But we are going more in-depth regarding cannabis in our next round of surveys.
@AndyDrinksBeer If a bartender simply checks a glass by holding it up to the light before filling it the perceived quality of the brew increases by 20%. No data to back that up (ironically) but pretty sure it's true.
@effingbeer One of many differences between pro & novice. As a homebrewer I have an embarrassing amount of handmade swill sitting in the basement which should be dumped. But I hold out hope that the good beer fairy will stop by & magically turn them into something drinkable.
Big thanks to Kristen @OdellBrewing and Emily @funkwerks for organizing the mktg & design happy hour last night. Good conversation & learned a lot - definitely a highlight of my week in Denver. #CBC2019
@BeerScribe We hear a lot about 'festival fatigue' - so we asked consumers about this in our 2018 DataQuencher craft beer survey. Less than 1/4 said they planned to attend fewer beer fests in 2019.
'Independent/Local' is starting to feel like 'Tastes great/Less filling.' But being perceived as local really does move the needle. Consumers give local beer brands significantly higher ratings for quality & innovation. More details: https://t.co/dPHiJJJFWj
