@IainMoppett @NHSrCommunity@datascibc@datacarpentry@dannyjnwong I think @DaveGLambert mentioned about R a couple of years ago. I got my toes wet doing some graphs for ggplot for the ICS last year (it took me ages) and wanted to do more. Learnt loads that will make my life easier and hope to do more!
@dannyjnwong @RaceyBeats @datascibc@drstevok Thank you Danny, @drstevok and all the faculty for a brilliant and challenging intro to data science. Highly recommended!!
@datascibc On the data science for doctors course today, excellent course I would recommend. My head hurts now though with lots of new information-wait til you see my new skills! @C_J_McWilliams@chrisbourdeaux
Thank you @datascibc for mindblowing 2 days the data science fir doctors course. Engaging and enthusiastic faculty who are passionate about R. Recommend to anyone who needs their eyes opened to world outside of excel! #rstats
Come along to the Society for Computing And Technology in Anaesthesia (SCATA) Annual Scientific Meeting on 13-14th May 2019 in Manchester! Talks about digital pre-op assessment, communication tools to replace bleeps, and all sorts of other tech tools! https://t.co/fhfWcf2xtD
New in the ANDROMEDA-SHOCK Bayesian app (https://t.co/iP3ul7LhaW): (1) dynamic post. HR of interest, (2) dynamic post. cred. interval, (3) heat map of Pr(post. HR < dynamic value) for combos of prior mean/SD #epitwitter@ADAlthousePhD@f2harrell@DanLane911@karimbrohi@erikrtn
For anybody interested in #reproducibleresearch, here is a GitHub repo with all the code which accompanies the paper: https://t.co/Dm8TYplHUp This time including the data underlying the analyses (no patient identifiers, hospitals anonymised)! #rstats#openscience

Congratulations to the CCHIC project! @drstevok and colleagues deserve a round of applause for setting up this ambitious collaboration! The models are impressive, but don’t forget the data infrastructure took months to develop and refine! @datascibc@uclnews
A great chance to work with @dannyjnwong and @rmoonesinghe on @SNAP2EPICCS secondary analysis! Check out https://t.co/UMBTfopvFQ for details on this and the other 2019 @HSRCNews Clinical Research Fellowships! @RCoANews
Also a great opportunity to work with a high quality dataset using a collaborative approach, embracing modern open science principles, and which has already yielded published outputs already: 1) https://t.co/LxzBVvgXOH 2) https://t.co/wCria6dQG0. With more to come!
The link might not be working, use this one instead: https://t.co/nE9rHtRQDK come and signup to be the 2nd @SNAP2EPICCS fellow and do some secondary analyses! I’ll help you learn #rstats!
My new paper @geospith and @riedelcastro is out! https://t.co/GJ1nsCP72Z We use RNNs for automated clinical coding, and show how to learn better representations of rare diseases by using training data efficiently. Introductory blog post at https://t.co/fx9g5or1UE
Awesome chance to work at the cutting edge of critical care research with @drstevok and co. Computing! Big data! I’d do it if I didn’t have to go back into training south of the river! Critical Care Clinical Research Fellow vacancy: https://t.co/XmJMacCVeY please retweet! #rstats
