Made myself a @SeedSigner my $BTC journey is beginning. I need to get a solo miner and run a node and I'll be completely 100% BTC
Took me 1hour to download and putting it together.
A developer once gave me some of the best security advice I’ve ever heard:
“Assume it will be compromised. Then build your plan so you can survive it.”
Stop trying to create a system with a 0% chance of failure. It doesn’t exist.
Instead, manage your risk.
Don’t put everything in one wallet.
Don’t rely on one backup.
Don’t trust one device.
Don’t assume one security method is perfect.
Whether it’s Bitcoin, email, a hot wallet, a cold wallet, or even your own judgment… every system has a weak point.
The goal isn’t to eliminate risk.
The goal is to make sure that when something eventually goes wrong, it doesn’t ruin your life.
There are possibilities… and there are probabilities.
Plan for both.

Hard times (scripted torture tests) create strong men (signing devices).
Strong signing devices create good times.
Stress testing the esp32-P4's limited internal RAM vs rendering lots of screens in different languages.
OOM errors will not be tolerated in this @SeedSigner port!
@bc1q21 Yes the fees are absurd. But when I tell my family about btc in the Philippines they still think it's a scam. They would rather use gcash, western union, or other money exchanges. Especially if those Filipinos are living in the poverty section in the PI.
You don’t need big expensive machines to mine a Bitcoin block from home. 🟧⛏️
The Gold Nugget Lottery Miner🥇
This tiny, all-in-one USB-C device is the lowest cost entry point into bitcoin mining. It’s built specifically to hunt for an entire block reward from your desk.
• Chip: Powered by a next-gen ESP32-D0 processor.
• Hashrate: Delivers ~1 MH/s.
• Display: Features a built-in screen displaying live Bitcoin price.
• Connectivity: USB-C power plug with built-in Wi-Fi.
• The Odds: Yields thousands of guesses per second. It acts as a permanent, zero-stress ticket to a global raffle drawing a winner 144 times a day.
• Cost to Operate: Less than $0.15 CAD per month on just 1 watt of power.
Love this. 👏
That’s exactly the kind of real-world use case we envisioned when building bc1q21.
Imagine being the cousin that sends each graduate a Bitcoin gift they can’t touch for 4 years… and then one day, out of nowhere, they remember:
“Holy crap… I’ve got Bitcoin waiting for me.”
Not just a gift.
A forced savings account.
A future memory.
A lesson in patience and long-term thinking.
Most people spend graduation money in a weekend.
You’re potentially changing financial futures.
