Some ideas what to think about before the sleep for new BDs in our cute space.

- Don’t explain your position (most of the time, not needed)

- Start the message with the value or the reason for reaching out.

- Don’t use "came across"… Show that you know exactly who you’re writing to... I am starting to take it personally when someone send me a message and they even dont know who they writing to lmao

- Create interest through your knowledge. Show that you understand your client's business.

- Don’t ask for a call in the first message if you are not 100% confident its important to them, or you’ll sound like a time waster. Propose a call once the value and mutual interest are clear.

- Simplify everything. Don’t ask the client for things you can cover yourself.

- Balance professionalism and your personality. We’re all just people but you can still keep things relaxed and professional at the same time.

- Don’t ask generic questions. Get kindly but directly to the point.

- If your approach is purely business-oriented, keep the conversation focused. Don’t jump off-topic out of nowhere. Its distractive.

- When mentioning references, align them with what people in the industry are likely to know. If you reference a highly successful algorithmic hedge fund and I’m in the gaming industry, I likely won’t know it. Add one sentence explaining why it’s relevant.

- Identify their priorities and interests, and respond to them accordingly.

Vidím to podobne už od začiatku 2025. Bolo to vidno na datach ale nesúhlasím "len" s binárnym rámcom „buď catch-up bull, alebo krypto irrelevantné“.

Posledné roky tu reálne bull market nebol, len prílev likvidity od inštitúcií, zatiaľ čo retail reálne nevyrástol. V 2025 som veril, že nová likvidita od inštitúcií pritiahne masu keďže zvýši trust v toto industry a bull sa „doleje“ aj zdola ale to sa nestalo. Či už kvôli makro neistote posledných 2 rokov alebo to bol jednoducho môj myľný predpoklad... a od "bullrunu" som už upustil, hoci ako si reagoval na nejaký komentár vyššie, tiež zostávam priklonený k prvej možnosti. Oveľa viac ale verím v transformáciu celého odvetvia. Za posledné 2–3 roky vidíme posun v narative aj v dospievaní industry. Určite príde stabilizácia významu krypta cez jeho reálnu rolu (napríklad vo forme využitia stablecoinov)

Najväčšie zmeny si myslím ale prebehnú na pozadí a pre koncového usera sa veľa nezmení a UX ostane rovnaké a bude to prechod z "Web2 backendu" na "Web3 backend" čo už môžeme vidieť teraz u fintechov typu Revolut, bánk, payment providerov atp... Veľa ľudí ani nebude vedieť, že používa blockchain a teda krypto podľa mňa určite neskončí, len prejde zo špekulatívnej fázy do infra.
