@elcarthy I actually think there is a huge gap in training with this. Also three months into cons job- general adult ward job with v supportive management and acted up in job which helped. But stuff that comes to you as a consultant you have no idea about in training.
@drjanaway Even more bizarre when taking into account S12 approval. So we’re responsible enough to make decisions on detention, pretty much independently run clinics/ward rounds, give evidence at tribunals & hold risk all for under £25/hr excluding professional fees. What a deal!
@TheDepressedMed Surely straight after it was running laps around the ward, lanyard twirling around your head and finish off with a knee slide in front of the nurses’ station? Otherwise it barely counts as a teachable moment.
@AdamCrafton_ It adds the element of jeopardy you otherwise don’t get in football where one goal switches you from crashing out in despair to going through in a blaze of glory. It’s why it’s so breathless at the end, the defence need to not concede as much as the attack need to score.
