If I'm being honest, half the things I went through are in fact because of me, my lack of discipline, not listening to my gut feelings, and my poor decision-making.
The older you get, the more you realize luck is mostly exposure. If you sit in the same place, have the same routine, talking to the same people, nothing new really happens. You have to engage the world to win. Travel more. Talk to people.
Not to sound delusional, but please pray for grace. Life isn't really about hard work. It's more about alignment, meeting the right people, grace, mercy, and favour.
Nobody talks about this enough: being broke makes you a worse person. more jealous. more reactive. more desperate. Poverty doesn't just shrink your wallet, it shrinks your character.
Adulting has humbled me a lot . I finally understand why so many adults stop posting on social media or even deactivate their accounts. Life feels so much peaceful when everything isn't on display. Like they say , out of sight, out of mind.. There's something really comforting about people not knowing every detail of your life.
